Source Protection Committee Member: Chris Galway
Chris has a degree in Geology from Carleton University and has spent time in both mineral exploration and aggregate businesses.
He's an active member of the Ontario Sand Stone and Gravel Association and also sits on the Land Use Committee. He participates as an aggregate representative on the Monitor the Moraine - Moraine Advisory Committee and has participated in the Integrated Carden Conservation Strategy.
Chris is currently Land Manager at Lafarge, responsible for Eastern & Northern Ontario, overseeing a multitide of issues including aggregate licencing and permitting, compliance, and community relations.
He spends his free time with his two children and referees hockey with the Greater Toronto Hockey League.
