Source Protection Committee Member: Erin Mahoney
Erin Mahoney is the Commissioner of Environmental Services for The Regional Municipality of York.
Prior to joining the Region, Erin enjoyed a distinguished career with Earth Tech Canada, an internationally-recognized engineering services company, where she served most recently as Vice President of National Environmental Business.
Erin has an extensive background in private sector management, business operations and consulting in the field of environmental engineering.
Erin is the past-chair of the Ministry of the Environment/Consulting Engineers of Ontario Liaison Committee and has appeared before the Standing Committee of the Ontario Legislature providing CEO’s view on new environmental legislation. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Western Ontario.
