Source Protection Committee Member: David Marquis
David Marquis was elected to the South Georgian Bay Lake Simcoe Source Water Protection Committee as a municipal representative. David is a fifth generation retired dairy and beef farmer from the Township of Brock in Durham Region. He has thirteen years experience as a local and Regional Councillor. During these years he served as Chair of the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority and as Founding Chair of the Durham Region Land Stewardship Council. David is currently the co-owner of Advantage Specialties, a company that focuses on environmentally friendly drainage products.
