PROPOSED ASSESSMENT REPORTS

Comment Period: October 22 - November 22, 2010
Submission to the Ministry of Environment on December 17, 2010

Thank you to everyone who submitted comments on the Proposed Assessment Reports which ended on November 22, 2010. All comments received during this second round of consultation have gone directly to the Ministry of Environment as an attachment when we submitted the Proposed Assessment Reports on December 17, 2010.

DRAFT PROPOSED ASSESSMENT REPORTS

Thank you to everyone who submitted comments on the "Draft Proposed Assessment Reports" which ended on October 8, 2010. The comments, which were considered by the Source Protection Committee as they revised the Assessment Reports, are posted here. Please note that these files are fairly large and may contain duplication. This is because, in the interest of transparency, we opted to present all information exactly as it was given to us, rather than summarize the information.

OPEN HOUSE FEEDBACK SUMMARIES

We received feedback and commentary on the Draft Proposed Assessment Reports during our five Open Houses held in late September and early October. All the summaries are now available:

IF YOU RECEIVED A LETTER IN THE MAIL

It means that you live or own property near a municipal well or surface water intake in a wellhead protection area or intake protection zone and certain activities that you may engage in on your property (such as fuel storage, pesticide use or the use of a septic system) have the potential to impact on municipal drinking water.
