UNABLE TO FIND AN ADDRESS?
If your search returns a window like the one below saying "no data available", try the following tips for a successful search.
- Ensure the correct municipality is selected
- Enter only the street number and street name. Do not enter the suffix. (sometimes less information is better)
- Enter "120 Bayview" for "120 Bayview Parkway"
- Enter only the street number for numbered Concession, Line or Sideroad addresses.
- Enter "8200" for "8200 Concession 6"
- Enter "1888" for "1888 7th Line"
- Enter "16200" for "16200 17th Sideroad"
- Enter only a partial street name.
- E.g. searching for "Bay" will return will return results for "Bay", "Bayshore", "Bayview", etc.
- If several addresses are returned in the pop up window, double click the number corresponding to the correct address.
STILL UNABLE TO FIND AN ADDRESS?
Close the search window and search manually following these steps:
- Go to “Jump to Extent” in the bottom left corner of the map. Select a municipality from the drop down menu and you will automatically zoom to that municipality.
Select this tool. Holding the mouse down, drag the mouse over the general area of your property to see your property clearly. Addresses appear on properties when you zoom in closer than a scale of 1:2500.-
Select this tool and click within your property boundaries to bring up the details and report about your property.
